In a dramatic turn of events, the National Democratic Congress (NDC) office in Ho Central was engulfed in flames, set ablaze by a group of furious party youth. The unrest stems from their frustration over President John Dramani Mahama’s lack of ministerial appointments from their constituency, despite the substantial support they provided during the elections.
The fire wreaked havoc on the office, consuming valuable property, including tiles, chairs, computers, and a television set, leaving the space in ruins. The scene was chaotic as thick smoke billowed into the sky, but timely intervention from the Ghana Fire Service helped to control the situation.
Led by station officer Francis Xormegbe and his team, firefighters worked diligently to extinguish the flames and prevent further damage. The deputy Constituency Secretary, Theophilus Adzahlo, reflected on the escalating tensions, highlighting the growing discontent among the youth members.

The incident serves as a stark reminder of the challenges the party faces in addressing the concerns of its supporters as far as appointments are concerned.
