The Agbogbomefia of the Asogli state, Togbe Afede XIV, drew attention to the pressing issue of water shortages affecting Ho and its surrounding communities, adding how critical it is to acknowledge that residents in Ho and adjacent areas are currently facing acute shortages of potable water. He further called for urgent measures to address this necessity for households, agriculture, and local businesses.

Speaking at the thank you tour of President Mahama in Ho, the Agbogbomefia, however, commended the President’s strategic vision for the region’s development, particularly the initiative to transform the Ho Airport into a pilot training school. This conversion is poised to not only enhance local education and training opportunities in aviation but also contribute to job creation and economic stimulation in the area.

Togbe Afede XIV was also appreciative of the President for his directive to the Ghana Airport Company Limited to facilitate the release of the necessary land for developing a pilot training school in Ho.

The Agbogbomefia is confident about the project’s potential impact on the region’s growth and the aviation sector at large.
